Description

I was inspired to design a High Definition rendition of Jill of the Jungle, after hearing about the HD Remixes of 16-bit classics such as Street Fighter II and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

To be honest, I pretty much traced my reference photograph. However, the focus of this exercise was on the colouring and composition. For the green version, I tried to match to the original JOTJ colour palette as closely as possible. I tweaked the colours of the other two, because they looked a little dull.

I created the figures in Illustrator CS3. The first model took around 10 hours to develop.
